Hi, I’m Julian — a third-year Game Design and Programming student at Uppsala University, Campus Gotland.

I’m passionate about building game systems and tools that can help improving the workflow. Working in a team where everyone can focus on their strengths and support each other is one of the most rewarding experiences for me.

During our Arcade Course, I developed an interest in microcontroller programming. The ability to bring digital functionality to board games or handheld consoles inspired me to start the development of my own 2D game engine. Read more about it here.

I have also explored other areas of game development, including level design, shader programming and motion capture. These experiences helped me to combine technical precision with visual and gameplay creativity. They also helpted me get insights into the workflow of other departments and what is important to them.
